EDIT 02/25/2013: Hey guys! There's only three more days left to submit your artwork if you'd like it to be considered for the artbook. So far we have received seven submissions; if you want yours considered, but need a few more days, please comment on this post. If enough people say so, I will extend that deadline. Otherwise, the submission deadline is March 31! We also need more traffic to the pre-order (GoFundMe) page; we've been stuck at $60 for weeks. I'll be making another more in depth flyer than the one I posted a week or two ago,so be on the lookout for that - I'll submit it to the group, so it should show up in everyone's message center. We could also use some more of the original drawings to give away as pledge perks; let me know if you're interested in that! You'd have to send it to me, though.

Hey guys! Pre-orders are now open! You can view the page here. I decided to use GoFundMe instead of Kickstarter, for two reasons:
1. Fees were better with GoFundMe.
2. I can take Paypal! Not through the GoFundMe page, but people can send payments to my Paypal address and I can add the amount to the Goal Bar. With Kickstarter I couldn't do that, so only payments made through Kickstarter would have made the Goal Bar go higher.

PLEASE advertise the campaign! Post it on your profiles, journals, signatures, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr - whatever! The more people see it, the better chance we have of raising the amount of money needed! Oh, and if you'd like to contribute to the Pledge Perks, let me know so I can add it!

Submissions are officially open! Get your submission in by February 28 if you'd like it considered for the book cover. Submission deadline is March 31. There are two ways to submit:
- Email your scanned image and signed artwork release form (print it, sign it, scan it, send it along with your submission) to kiaragilbert33@gmail.com, OR
- Note me and ask for my snail mail address (it will be for my physical address), if you are planning on sending me the original copy of your submission (include a copy of your signed artwork release form).

Either way, until I have a SIGNED artwork release form, your submission will not be 100% approved for printing in the book. If I don't receive your release form before the submission deadline, you will not get another chance to send it in and your submission WILL NOT BE PRINTED. I will not be reminding you to send it in; it is your job to remember! So get those release forms in ASAP!! Please do not upload the full image to deviantART; preview images and speedpaint videos of your submission(s) are allowed, though.

Also, because people keep saying this: everyone now has to prove they used Crayola products on their picture. This can be accomplished with WIPs or speedpaints where you show the medium(s)/product(s) you used. Sorry, but I had too many people act like they were going to lie about using Crayola products so that they could be part of this artbook. So if anyone was planning on lying about what products they were using: sorry, but you might as well give it up now and spend the $5-$10 dollars to buy Crayola crayons or watercolors or whatever.

We did not reach 100 artists, so each artist will now be allowed to have TWO submissions in the artbook! Having a second image in the book is not mandatory, it is up to you.
